Understanding urban infrastructures and their political nature.

Activity: Talk or presentationInvited talkTeaching

Description

This lecture will explore designer ecology, environmental racism, and disaster colonialism to show how infrastructure often becomes a source of social inequality, favouring already privileged groups. Using specific case studies, it brings attention to communities that, experiencing limited or no infrastructure, depend on collective action and social organisation to 'hack' networked systems, gaining access to vital resources and shaping their communities.
