Description
The Bambu Lab X1 Carbon and P1S are high-performance desktop 3D printers designed for speed, precision, and ease of use. Both printers feature CoreXY motion systems and support multi-material printing via the Automatic Material System (AMS). The X1 Carbon includes advanced AI-assisted features and a hardened toolhead for engineering-grade materials, while the P1S offers a more streamlined, cost-effective solution with similar speed and reliability.
Technology: Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) with CoreXY motion system
Build Volume: 256 × 256 × 256 mm (both models)
Max Print Speed: 500 mm/s
Acceleration: 20,000 mm/s²
Nozzle:
X1 Carbon: Hardened steel, 0.4 mm, up to 300 °C
P1S: Stainless steel, 0.4 mm, up to 300 °C
Bed Temperature: Up to 120 °C
Filament Compatibility: PLA, PETG, TPU, ABS, ASA, PA, PC, PVA, carbon/glass fiber-reinforced materials
Layer Resolution: As fine as 0.05 mm
Features:
Shared:
Enclosed build chamber
Multi-color/material printing with AMS
Vibration and extrusion compensation
Bambu Studio software and mobile app
X1 Carbon Exclusive:
Lidar-assisted first layer inspection
AI spaghetti failure detection
Hardened toolhead for abrasive filaments
The P1S is available for printing bespoke filament materials
