Personal profile

Overview

I am a Senior Lecturer in Climate Resilience, my interests are in climate impacts, whereby we understand the broad scale changes caused by climate change but need to focus on how these changes affect human livelihoods. I apply climate change projections to various impact models to assess the impacts, these impacts are important for policy makers. These impacts also provide the general public with a tangible definition of how climate change will affect their lives.

Research interests

I am a climate impacts scientist with an interest in the impacts of climate change on human livelihoods. My research interests range from water demand in crops, to aircraft emissions and spacecraft demise. I have worked for DESNZ and UKRI on heat and health topics for their infrastructure. I am the Resilience lead for the Sustainable Futures platform at the university. Beyond climate science I am also interested in practical impacts of computing hardware.
