Accepting PhD Students
Chanaka Ganepola is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Finance at Alliance Manchester Business School. Previously, he was a lecturer in Finance at Leeds Beckett University and Coventry University. Chanaka held several positions at the Central Bank of Sri Lanka over a period of 9 years prior to joining academia.
Chanaka holds a PhD in Finance from Alliance Manchester Business School, MSc. in Financial Engineering and Risk Management from Imperial College London, MBA in Finance from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka and a BE in Computer Science and Engineering from VTU, India. He is also a Fellow of Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
Chanaka’s previous and current research work examines liquidity concerns in commodity markets and energy market issues.
