Overview
Research Associate specialising in offshore wind farm modelling.
With over seven years of experience in computational modelling, he has expertise in RANS-based CFD and engineering wake models. His current research focuses on evaluating the limitations of widely used engineering wake models in farm-to-farm interactions and assessing their accuracy against high-fidelity LES simulations of multi-gigawatt offshore wind farms. He also contributes to cross-disciplinary projects investigating the physical impacts of wind farms on marine ecosystems, developing tools to map offshore wind farm deficits onto hydrodynamic and ecological models.
