Dr. Esma Yilmaz is a material scientist specialising in ceramic processing for high temperature applications, particularly for material systems to be used in aerospace and nuclear applications. She currently works as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Henry Royce Institute.

Dr. Yilmaz holds a PhD in Material Science from the University of Manchester and an MSc in Materials Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, with numerous peer-reviewed publications, and industry-focused conference presentations.
