Kate is Research Associate on the Care Aesthetics Research Exploration (CARE) Project. A dancer by training, she is an arts administrator as well as an academic. She teaches across disability, cultural studies, media, performance, theatre and dance both in Sydney and Manchester. Her research interests lie in care theory and disability aesthetics and their inter- and cross-disciplinary applications. Above all, Kate is interested in building bridges between academia and industry and making ideas and art accessible.
