PhD projects
I am currently seeking highly motivated PhD applicants interested in pursuing research in the broad areas of Control Theory and Robust Systems, Networked and Multi-Agent Systems, Distributed Optimisation and Learning in Control, and Autonomous Systems. Candidates with strong mathematical and analytical skills, and a background in control systems, electrical engineering, applied mathematics, or related fields are especially encouraged to apply.
Lanlan Su is a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Manchester, UK, since 2025. She was previously a Lecturer at the University of Sheffield and the University of Leicester, UK. She received the B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University, China, in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree in Control Engineering from The University of Hong Kong in 2018. She subsequently worked as a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Notre Dame, USA. Dr. Su is a recipient of the Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship awarded by the Research Grants Council of Hong Kong.
