Lucy is an National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) Clinical Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Manchester and Clinical Nurse Specialist at The Warrell Unit, Saint Mary’s Hospital, Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.
Lucy has a particular interest in self-management, pessaries for pelvic organ prolapse and stress urinary incontinence. Lucy's PhD is to explore the barriers and facilitators to pessary self-management building upon her prior involvement as a co-applicant on the Treatment Of Prolapse with Self-care pessarY (TOPSY) study. Lucy has experience working as a research nurse, research manager for Saint Mary's Hospital and trial manager for Latitute, a multicentre study to explore urethral bulking as first line treatment for stress urinary incontinence.
