Overview

Panos Achniotis is a PhD canditate in Social Anthropology at the University of Manchester. His current research engages with how neighbourhood-based politics in post-crisis Barcelona are being shaped in light of urban development projects. Previously, he conducted research on the grassroots Catalan pro-idenpendence mobilisation and he worked as research assistant at the Department of Social and Political Science at the University of Cyprus. His works have been published in a journal and an edited volume.
