Overview

Pauline is a PhD candidate, passionate about revolutionizing crop production through cutting-edge technologies and innovations. She is leading a project that explores the capabilities of earth observation, machine learning and crop modelling techniques in finding feasible and adaptable solutions for sustainably increasing food production in smallholder farming systems. 

Her interests are founded in a desire to develop integrated solutions that address environmental sustainability, climate resilience, socio-economic development and good governance at a variety of scales. She has a background in Environmental Science and has extensive experience in applying crop simulation models, utilising Remote Sensing and GIS for natural resource management and designing field crop experiments.
