Personal profile

Overview

I am a PhD researcher on the #BeeWell project, supervised by Prof Neil Humphrey and Dr Louise Black. I am also a part-time research assistant on the #So.Me project. I completed my BSc in Educational Psychology at MIE in 2022 and stayed on to work as a research assistant on two projects. In 2023, I was awarded a 1+3 studentship connected to the #BeeWell project and completed my MSc in Research Methods, with a strong focus on quantitative analysis.

Research interests

My research interests include exploring adolescent mental health through longitudinal quantitative methods, with a particular focus on psychological network modelling.

Currently, I am working on the application of integrative data analysis and moderated nonlinear factor analysis in the context of adolescent mental health.

I am an advocate for open science, driving my research ethos towards transparency and rigour. My goal is to contribute to a more nuanced understanding of mental health dynamics among adolescents.

Further information

Currently, I am organising MIE's monthly R club meetings. MIE’s R club was set up by Dr Louise Black to encourage R users to discuss quantitative analyses, adopt best coding practices, check other researchers' code when they want to publish it, and also to provide an opportunity for non-users to learn R. Drop me an email if you want to join us!
