Description

This award nomination recognises University of Manchester's nearly two-decade partnership with National Grid. In 2003, The University established a strategic alliance with National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET), the owner and operator of the high voltage (HV) electricity transmission network in England and Wales. The current aim of the partnership is to strengthen NGET’s research capabilities and develop commercial solutions at a time of great change for the electricity network.
