Abstract

This poster presents qualitative research exploring how employees actively shape their flexible work arrangements (FWAs) through crafting behaviors. Drawing on Person–Environment fit theory and job crafting literature, the study identifies key crafting behaviours such as adjusting work hours, locations, and routines to better meet personal and professional demands. Themes related to organisational support, autonomy, and social norms emerged as important enablers of crafting. Work-life balance surfaced as a central outcome, offering practical insights for designing supportive flexible work policies.
