Intercultural Education

I lead a PGT course unit EDUC70621 Intercultural Communication in Education, which explores critical intercultural approaches to 'international' education and education 'internationalisation'.

I also design and deliver a training series on 'Creative Approaches to International Students' (CAIS) for the Institute of Teaching and Learning (ITL) at the university. The training series provides conceptual and practical opportunities for staff to reflect towards more inclusive understandings and approaches to teaching, support, and partnering with international students.

Creative methods

I teach/contribute sessions on creative methods to PGT and PGR students in research methods units and training.

My scholarship of creative methods is informed by the ethics of epistemic justices, and epistemological diversity and inclusion in knowledge production.
