Abstract
In the title compound, [Ni(C3H7NO)(6)](BF4)(2), there are two independent [Ni(dmf)(6)](2+) cations (dmf is N,N-dimethylformamide), each with a crystallographically imposed centre of symmetry. Hydrogen-bonding interactions between the cations and BF4- anions allow the formation of polymeric chains.
